Words That Work

As a freelance gaming and tech copywriter, my specialty lies in B2C content for PC gaming brands. From product editorials and buying guides to game launch features and news coverage, I write copy that allows technically confident brands to connect with the players who matter to them.

Resident Evil: Requiem Gaming PC Guide | CCL

Prepare your PC for blood, gore, and Leon kicking down doors.

A launch prep piece written for CCL, this was a blog post that I heavily pushed for due to Resident Evil 9 being a massive release for the year and a huge nostalgia trip for fans. Not only that, but I’m a big Resi fan myself, so to say I was excited to write this was an understatement.

The piece covered the context of the game’s story for both returning fans and newcomers, broke down system requirements, and recommended PC builds across three budget tiers themed around the game: The Survivor, The Operator, and The Nemesis.

What I write

Gaming blog posts and editorial content, PC hardware buying guides, game-ready landing pages, product page copy, feature articles, and gaming news coverage. If it needs to speak to a PC gaming audience and actually get read, I can write it.

That being said, my experience as a creative writer and working for digital marketing agencies has made me fully flexible and adaptable to areas outside of my comfort zone too!

Who have I worked with?

My gaming content sits at the intersection of editorial and commercial. I craft pieces that are genuinely useful and interesting to read, with a natural commercial conclusion. At the end of the day, I write for brands that want their content to do more than fill a page or serve for search engine optimisation.
